Flashback ...

"Years ago. I am playing Poker for the first time in a high stakes environment, with many of those 'old fox' kind of players.

The table was heated, but the poker game became much slower, the periods became much longer (than when we played at a friend's house), and the patience required was much higher.

I remember that those with more backup made repurchases. No-limit Poker does not have to have rebuys. Otherwise it is almost eternal. But this time, the rules were like this.

As a side note: Poker is the only casino game in which players do not play against the house but instead give a commission per round to the house, nothing more. Fair play, apparently.

Then, after less than an hour, all-in: crash and burn. No prize.

I return to the department table with some friends again. Of course, a few weeks after that. Without the game of Poker this time, like we used to, but simply a topic to discuss. Anyway, it felt like a round of Poker. Take turns, listen, give an opinion, turns.

After listening and grasping everything, I used to go against some particular point. But this time, decided not to put all my arguments.

All in? I must be careful this time."
